Features:
- Automatically turns the phone on when the vehicle is started. Your J2ME application will always be running on the
handset, whenever the vehicle is being used, automatically, and without
the need for driver intervention.
- Charges phone only when the vehicle's ignition is on. Eliminates vehicle
battery drain when not in use, without risking loss of your application
tracking functions when the vehicle is operated again.
- For Falcon phones:
- Automatically (and
optionally) turns phone off when ignition is turned off. No more
phone battery drain when the vehicle is not in use.
- Turn-on is automatically delayed (depending upon selected turn-off
time) in order to warm up a fully-discharged phone battery
long enough to fully power-up the phone and automatically start your app.
- Specific Turn on/Turnoff delays are configurable to allow short or long
vehicle stops, without interruption of software.
- For USB phones (i335, etc.):
- Turn-on is automatically delayed in order to warm up a fully-discharged phone battery
long enough to fully power-up the phone and automatically start your app.
Sequential turn-on attempts are automatically made to ensure that handsets
in below-freezing environments will successfully boot-up and resume
charging.
- Specific turn-on sequences are configurable, to tailor operation to
specific environments.
