• Hookup after mounting of components is simple, the installer only needs to connect the interface module's red wire to +12v, black wire to ground, then plug the included cables into the scanner and phone.
• The Scan module can be mounted up to 25' away from the phone, it has built-in tabs to make it easy to attach to any suitable bulkhead, dashboard or pedestal.
• Press the button for each scan, or configure for no-hands continuous scanning.  To use, passengers simply put their bar coded bus passes under the red scan beam.
• The scan module contains the SP5 high-performance laser scanning engine.
• Included 10' scan module connector cable can be easily extended up to 25' using low-cost 3.5mm plug extension cables.

The ScannerPal SP5-RMS scanning system is a simple, flexible, and cost effective scan solution with many uses.  A few examples: Mounted in school buses for student tracking; in vehicles for package tracking or passenger ticketing; on a kiosk for time-clock, customer service/price-check, and event gate tracking.
